Bob Kalyan (Vice President) – Frank’s oldest son, Bob Kalyan, migrated from Lautoka, Fiji to Oakland, CA to join the family hospitality business in 1975. Bob soon became part owner of the family businesses. He assisted with the motel operations and was a critical part of Frank & Ron’s growth. Bob also worked in our warehouse, assisted with deliveries and developed his salesmanship skills. He has leveraged his nearly five decades of experience to develop long term customer relationships across the US. Bob likes to keep busy generating sales, interacting with customers and assisting with the day to day business activities. During his free time, he enjoys practicing yoga, taking long walks and listening to classic Bollywood tunes. Spending most of his life in Oakland he is an avid Bay Area sports fan. The Raiders, Warriors and Athletics are his favorite teams. As a lovable husband with 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren Bob enjoys spending time with his family and one of his favorite activities is playing Monopoly.
