Regular servicing will help prolong the life of your pool lift. Routine maintenance and cleaning is very important. The following is a routine maintenance you should follow.
Daily
- Check and charge battery if needed
- Test for normal operations
- Inspect your lift
- Clean and dry the lift and seat with clean water
- Cover lift after use
Weekly
- Overview Daily Checklist
- Wipe away any surface rust with household spray cleaner
- Clean tough stains with Scotchbrite pad and wipe clean
Monthly
- Inspect all connections, frame, seat, etc.
- Clean battery connections
- Clean metallic surfaces with a wax cleaner
The maintenance provision of the ADA states that “a public accommodation shall maintain in operable working condition those features of facilities and equipment that are required to be readily accessible to and usable by persons with disabilities.”
